however, games that pride themselves on realism, such as destruction derby, and to an extent driver, do defy the laws of physics in a lot of ways, such as how the cars in certain circumstances in both cases managed to soar 20 or so foot in the air on some collisions...puzzling, seeing as driver was calssed under the realistic category that we seem to want games, If we want the graphics to be more and more like true life, why not the way things actually work?
I for one think it would be refreshing to see Lara Croft not outclass some of the worlds best longjumpers, high jumpers, and skeet shooters, lets face it, what is she doing in a dungeon when she could have been a star in sydney 2000?
How about some games in the future that incorporate 'realism.' Even though I included driver in my, 'reasons against,' I do think it came close to this realim that so many games lack.
