So who is going to comply? Anyone?

I concur.
They should spend their time on something useful like trying to get decent wages for farmers in 3rd world countries, rather than try to lower the prices of luxeries for rich people.
True, a few that feel really hard done by will not buy games in that time period. But most people will carry on as per normal. You want the game - you got to buy it. And Christmas will be fairly close as well. All the parents will be splashing the cash (well the Credit card anyway) on games for the kids!
Prices of games are fine.
> The fairplay campaign are so sick of the price of videogames that this boycott is being publicised.
Where is this being publicised? I've not seen or heard anything about it, plus I'd do exactly like I did when the petrol blockade happened, managed to survive that and when it was all over went and bought some more petrol.
Who is this fairplay campaign being run by? Also like Belldandy said games are alot cheaper now than when they first came out. If people continue to shop in high street stores then it's their own fault, the more people who start to shop around on the internet the better and prices in the stores will have to come down eventually.
No I wont be complying, I will continue to purchase games as and when I want but from the net where I've purchased all my games since I got my PS2.
Even so, how would not buying games make them cheaper ? Seems a bit daft to me, you'd just go buy them after the boycott. Besides, games have never been as cheap as they are these days.
Simple solution for anyone who thinks games are too expensive - don't buy a console. Easy eh ?

The Getaway is released on 6th December. So I think it's a rhetorical question.
