hey will, semejal, there are enough regulars (and notables) that post absolute cr*p on here, without slagging off the newbies.
they kinda have same fake review problem on newgrounds, people who vote for a movie before seeing it just to get points and experiance.

everyone starts out as a newbie. There have recently also been some very clever, sensible newbies who have gone on to become clever sensible regulars. Unfortuntly newbies get a bad name due to the few who do come on and post rubbish.

Freedom of expression and not knowing what the word 'review' means are very powerful tools in the hands of newbies.
There used to be a time when the link at the bottom of 'to be released' games led straight to the relevant thread in the Game forums, but then they scrapped the Game forums.
Personally I like the mini-previews of games, they help to create hype about upcoming games, and it's nice to see gamers being so enthusiastic about new titles. What gets me is the 'fake' reviews, not the ones that are copied and pasted, just the ones where the person reviewing the game hasn't actually played it.
