Been keeping up with the story of all this recently. Firstly because my girlfriend has family there and we were over there only last month.
Its a terrible thing to see happen, obviously it brings up all the questions on gun laws in america and as usual the question of terrorist actions has been added in. What surprises me is it all seems random, someone just shooting people out of the blue and nobody has seen anyone after each attack.
I just hope they catch the person(s) involved as soon as possible. Today it was a 13 year old kid who was shoot and very badly injured. How could someone shoot an innocent kid just shocks me.

I've been watching it as well since the initial shootings were connected to others. Victims do seem to be quite random but there's always the problem of copycat shooters. All seem to be done by a weapon suited to long range firing, and that the criminal is at least proficient with the weapon. The fact that he/she is carrying these out and not being seen/detected prior to an attack also shows a certain level of knowledge/intelligence.
It isn't terrorism, at least international terrorism, and the lack of one certain group being targetted makes internal terrorism unlikely, but not completely impossible.
It's certainly going to be a tough case for the Police.
