I has a car crash back in January and am still going through the claim and it's getting messy.

I went for a job interview a few weeks back and unfortunately didn't get the job. They told the agency it was because I was too good and I would get bored easilly and want to leave after about 6 months......

I went out for a pub lunch with my mum and dad at the weekend and we were chatting about this job interview. My dad said wouldn't it be weird if the job I went for was were the "third party driver" worked. I said the company name and he took out her business card from his wallet....

Yes... she worked at the place I had a job interview at!!!! For the first time ever I was actually glad not to get a job! Do you think she found out I was having the interview and told my interviewer not to employ me because of our circumstance???

No - you can't legally do it - but how can you prove it ?

It's like here - we advertised for a position and had just over 40 applications. When the applications came in, any from blokes or from woman over about 25 were rejected straight away cos the Director wanted a woman who was - in his words "pleasing to the eye". It's total discrimination but try and prove it in a court though.....

It goes on all the time, all over the place.

You may well find that the "Third Party" recognised you in the building somewhere and enquired and made a little comment about your unsuitablilty but you could never prove it.

I don't think that can legally do that. You could pprobably have a complaint. They have to employ the most suitablr person for their job, and the fact that your 'too good' and may leave doesn't make you unsuitable.

People suck. Work sucks. Bullys suck.
