"Prisoner of War"

I got this game to work on a friends machine for like 5 mins.. it was pretty cool, until it crashed.

On my machine, i get this error when trying to load

a box pops up entitled Prisoner of War Video Player
and it says "FAILED(hr =0x80004002) in pVW->put_Owner((OAHWND)ghApp)"

Anyone know any suggestions for fixing this?

Try using the phone number in the manual (not the 09... number!!!). They were able to help me out the with the clash with ME bug it's got in it ;)

I have mixed feelings also, but things will become clear when I get my PC sorted out again.

This game has never really appealed to me, I much prefer Commandos 2 which have you on a couple of missions to escape from prisons. I just feel this game is too much of a console title to be really enjoyable on the PC. Hmmm, I may give it a try sometime and see if I like it, you never know, I might be suprised.

I've just got Prisoner of War. Unfortunately I can't tell you what it's like yet as my PC wasn't being very good today and I've had to run Recovery Genius. I'll let you know soon.

I dont own the game, but i done a quick search which was unforthcoming. I would email the publisher. I think its Codemasters.
