Couldnt find a topic to put this under so thought I would stick it in here!!

I have gone back in time by finding Street Fighter Collection II for the PSX. It has 3 games on one disc which are:

-Street Fighter II (The Original version)
-Street Fighter II (The Championship version)
-Street Fighter II (The Turbo Hyper version)

The games are still arcade perfect and everything found in them 7-8 years ago is still here. Nothing has been tweaked, nothing new has been added and the gameplay is as good now as it has ever been. These games dont seem to have aged at all, I cant really believe it was that long ago that I was playing them down the arcade.
I still think that some of the finest characters ever produced are found in here: Ryu, Ken, Guile, Chun Li, Zangieff, Dhalsim, Blanka, E Honda, and the boss characters: Vega, Sagat, Balrog, M Bison.
The special moves are still as authentic from Ken/Ryu's Hadourken Fire ball and Dragon punch to E Honda's Hundred hand slap and Blanka's Electricity attack. They are so easy to execute and still just as satisfying to pull off.
The arcade mode is still quite challenging and can become very difficult on higher level settings. The lower difficulty however is just too simple to complete. I managed to complete level two in under half an hour using just punches with Balrog, but it is a good way to get in some practice. Play for long enough and you will be pulling off some killer combos and work through the bonus stages from smashing a car to bits to breaking falling barrels.
The gameplay is what this game is all about though, incredibly simple to get into and very tricky to master. Todays Street Fighter's (SF Alpha 3, 3rd Strike) have thankfully kept faithfull to the side scrolling 2-D beat em up style and that is the only way I think this game can be played. Although it looks great in 3-D it just doesnt feel right. Anyway there are stacks of moves and combos to experiment with and enough to keep you hooked for a very long time.
The music was always a great feature of the original and it is very pleasing to hear the awesome tunes again. All the speech has been kept the way it was, the intro screen has not changed and the super slow animation is still there although things do significantly speed up in the Turbo edition.
I dont think I could have found a better game than this. It was only the other day that I was regreting getting rid of my SNES because I wanted to play this game so badly. But I have it now in three versions aswell and all the precious gaming memories have come flooding back to me.
If you want to relive those classic gaming memories I suggest you go and find a copy of this game. Three versions of the best beat em up the world has ever seen on one disc and can all be bought for under £10!!! If that isnt a bargain then I dont know what is.
