Tried Colin McRae 2.0 in my PS2 last night, the loading process is so slow. Five to ten minutes to load the game and about two minutes between stages. The game plays fine otherwise. Have tried standard and fast disc speed (seems worse on fast). Has anyone else tried to play this or other PSX games and had problems?

Anyone else tried? If you experience the same problem as me with long load times, you WILL notice. If all you guy's find it OK could be my disc, or worse my PS2!

I got my PS2 today through SR on mail-order, i tried colin m 2.0 and it was faster i think, but definatly not slower.

My copy of Driver 2 loads far, far quicker on my PS2 than it did on my PlayStation - around 1/4 of the time.
