Crazy this. No-one is responding for my pleas for help in the newsgroups, where I have this problem copying music onto my HD with Media PLayer. It's perfectly legal - Audio CDs that I own, being coopied onto my HD, crash the player after one song has been copied. THis also occurs when I delete a song fom the library.

So why aren't they responding? (And if you can help, then that would be a bonus).

I've had no trouble with my media player under XP. Sounds like you could have a corrupted EXE. Try downloading the latest version, as viperfire said - that will over-write the corrupted file.

If that doesn't solve it, at least you'll have ruled that out as your problem.

My advice would be to download the latest version of media player (version 9) and see if that works.

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
