Competitions...How many have you won? I'm not going to ask you about GAD so don't include them but any other competitions e.g. Nintendo magazine comps. I have won two albums, 5 singles and hundreds of rafel prizes some of them not CRAP!! Once I won a HUGE box of Scottish Highland Shortbread in a rafel with hundreds of different boxs of different types of shortbread in them. The price on the side said R.R.P £40 and I paid 10p for the ticket :D

No comp, Rabbit killer, but I did do other sports.

1. Swimming medals-50
20 gold
5 silver
25 bronze

2. Karate competitions and winnings are 10 times as hard as swimming.

3. Clever at school? Humph, damn smarty pants I am.

4. Looking back, I won one GAD. Thanks, SR.

5. There was a Gran Turismo 3 championships for all years at the academy and In was the only one in my house who ended up in the semi-finals and lost by 20 milli-seconds, but whon a huge trophy.6.

6. I play for a basketball team and end up getting a medal, usually.

I am pleased of what I have achieved and not jealous of what you have.

FM i think you must be the luckiest man alive. Once i won £10 for a wordsearch competition. I considered trying to enter the big crossword puzzle draws, but i think i would get beaten everytime by some old granny from Whitby.

You'll love this...

It was a competition run by the lease123.co.uk website. You had to answer 3 questions about their product then come up with a tie-breaker. (I can't remember what my tie-breaker was, but it must have been good because it won).

I got a letter first class recorded mail out of the blue about a month after entering saying "Congratulations, you were selected as the winner of our February 2001 competition, please call this number to claim your Acer Veriton FP2 Personal Computer and to arrange delivery."

It was couriered to be the next day.

lease123.co.uk subsequently closed their website that summer.

This is the most used of all my prizes, amongst which are included a WAP mobile with internet access and an MP3 Player (Sky Rewards), a Family Holiday for 4 people to any European location and about £1000 worth of Christmas Goodies, tree, decorations, hampers, toys, spirits etc (Hasbro), and $25,000 (worked out to about £10,000 after State taxes) (iMustLotto.com).

My favourite prizes of all time, though, are the GADs, because being given a free game for simply expressing your opinion on a topic you love is incredibly generous, especially when you consider that the 20 GADs I've won so far probably have a total retail value of over £650.

If you haven't guessed yet, my past-time is entering competitions. I used to do it full-time (entering about 100 online competitions a day) but cut back after I decided that perhaps living a life would be a more suitable pursuit. Now I just enter the odd one now and again.
