"one big long wait for playstion 2"

when i heard plystation 2 was coming out about a year ago i have been waiting anxiously ever since, and when i asked my mum if i could pre order one she said not now because it was too expensive. 2 months went bye to 26/11/2000 and i said that i would pay for it if i could pre order one now, so i did and then i sank because i realized that i would`t get one till the end of march 2001 if any one can offer me any comforting advice etc.please tell me

icek i only ordered mine on about the 12 of november cus i changed shops, i never got a launch console but this week isn't bad. the shop is called gameland, a big shop but out of the way, above a garage apparently? phone these up and see how soon they can get you a PS2. details are here...

Nothing will be able to comfort you at this late stage. It is unfortunate, but the only way that you will get one any earlier is either shop around and see if any retailer is offering any for delivery in January, or pay way-over-the-odds prices at auction.

There is a shop in southport, merseyside, that did have some on the shelf at the weekend, but i am not sure if they would have any left now.
