*I am not a fanboy. I have no views on XBox as a console, I played Spiderman once on it and didn't know the buttons. Dying followed*

this is from the guy who posed 12 'gamecube sucks' topics in the nintendo forum. time for revenge methinks...
The PS2 is for sheep.
Little kids like the Gamecube.
And only geeks buy into Microsoft's Xbox.
So I'm a 5 year old and Savatt's a geek.
It could be worse... some people like Er-no and Wookiee are all 3 at the same time! ;-D
> and how do cartoon games have more sucess? Halo's not cartoon. and

Yeah, great isn't it? It's a crying shame a crap cartoony games called Super Mario Sunshine is vastly outselling it...
Well, at least I still have my dignity.
For some reason, some attitudes seem to come accross that only companies that make games themselves can be in the games industry. Personally, the fact that Microsoft are delivering the games I want to play is enough to warrant them being around.
Some people also seem to think that Microsoft are dictating to developers what types of games they make for the X-Box. One amusing comment was about Rare - how Microsoft would make them create realistic games and another Halo. ;-))
Yeah I can really see that - spend all that money on a developer, throw away the characters and games they're famous for and give them orders to make games that plenty of other developers are already creating. ;-))
I wouldn't say Rare are the final piece of the puzzle, but they are certainly an important piece as far as it goes with bringing variety to the X-Box.
So far I think Microsoft are doing a great job and there are more and more excellent titles being announced all the time. The fact I want around 80 games for the console so far shows how much I'm enjoying the console. I've never wanted so many games on a console before - and thats within its first year of release over here !
> This topic is saying that XBox cannot try and buy companies to get good.
A console needs good games to be considered good, yes?
MS buy rights for good games then you criticise them for doing so. Sony bought rights for GTA3, its the same thing.
Some people are backward, no matter what Xbox does it'll never be enough.
