Damn that cold. Thought I was better this morning, but as the day progressed my head just got worse and worse until I thought it would explode. Now I have it worse than before.

Oh well, I won a GAD, which cheered me up no end, and tomorrow I'm on training again, so I can sneak on the net and on here during my breaks. Oh, and it's a lot easier than work (and more interesting too!)

Mmm, sorry to hear that Pb... and, well everyone else that's ill.

I can't think of a single way to get rid of a cold so I won't bother trying to sound as if I know.

(Mmm.)

Do you know any cures?

(Cure for the common cold?... even though it has all those variations? Not just being the 'cold', it's a common one too.)

Stop babbling and tell us the cure.

(I don't have a cure, I never said I did.)

Mmmm.

I'm ill too. :o(

Been off work all week, started as a cold/flu, but now it's less of a cold, more of the achey, headachey thing.

Illness sucks, except fro not being at work which is good, but I didn't even feel like drinking beer the other day, during football. That is VERY WRONG.

So logic Dictates that you can't catch more than 254 colds.

An interesting cold fact for you!
There are 254 different known strains of the common cold virus, and you never catch the same one twice!

And the best way to get rid of a cold is to rub vics into your FEET before you go to bed. Trust me, when you wake up, you will not have a cold!

Well, I'm here at the course, and my cold/flu thing seems to be a bit better. I took Nurofen Cold and Flu, then (a bit later) had a large brandy with honey and lemon. It knocked me out if nothing else!

Still, at least you can't catch it over the net....or can you?

It's starting to make sense why it's called a cold.

I suppose there are other terms like the flu, a fever, and death-warmed-up.

Or being in heat. No, that wouldn't work either...

One of Life's mysteries:

It gives you a high temperature, yet it's called a 'cold'?
