TV Gaming. We all know about it. You can play games on Open on Sky Digital. But they are very basic, very unattractive, they have annoying controls and just really aren't up to it. So what's in store for the future of TV gaming??? Well, its gonna be a few years before we get any really decent games to play on your TV, I mean, Sky Digital hasn't been out that long. Hopefully, Sky or any other digital TV companies, will be able to upgrade our TV's, so hopefully in a couple of years we can play decent games. But until then, there's isn't enough choice, and I don't think gaming is one of the most important things on the minds of Sky and NTL and others.
But its definitely a good thing to invest in. For instance, if Sky get some really great games on Open on Sky Digital 2 or whatever, it's going to be a lot more popular than NTL, for instance.
For a start, us gamers will want to get it, and it will be a nice alternative from consoles and playing across the Internet.
It could also save us a lot of money, and they could add cool things like save game options, being able to buy games for your TV, playing 2 player across your TV, IT COULD BE A GAMING REVOLUTION!!!!

But all this is a long way away, but I really think companies like Sky and NTL should look into it.

Thanks for reading, Ant.

You think TV gamings bad, what about those international flights. You know youre on a great new Bowing 777, then you see the joypad/phone/tv controller all in one....the flights a good few hours so this could be great, the games have to be at least up to SNES standard right? Wrong, the only games they can pull out are Tetris, and Solitare Clones... Please Bowing bring out new planes that come with Playstation Games those international flights are a nightmare. Still it doesnt effect me much I wont be able to afford to fly anywhere for a while, not on my student loan.

I like playing games with the TV.
Sometimes I hide the remote control so my wife can't find it and sometimes I switcht the little N64 switch over from TV to Game so that she can't get a signal.

Oh, I see, you mean playing games OVER TV! In the eighties there was a programme called Knightmare, which was basically a computer generated dungeon game (very basic) but it would be nice to be able to have something similar to this, with Avitar characters instead of real life people, and just challenge four people to solve the riddles and get to the end of the dungeon before anyone else, all controlled through your set-top box It's more of a TV friendly idea than deathmatches, which (according to TV execs.) would have to be held at about midnight to be shown on TV.

I played battleships the other day around my cousins house, i thought it was quite good, don't know about that submarie game though, it was too easy, after about 50 goes.

Stick with console, TV gaming instead it's more reliable, or it should be.
