Leicester city boss Micky Adams has been named the nationwide divison one manager of the month for september.

Adams has seen his side gain victory over wimbledon, Hull city, derby county, bardford city and wolves during the month, dropping just two league points away to sheffield wednesday along the way.

The city squad has been in sprkling form in september - scoring 15 times and leaking just five times.

Adams has been named manager of the month four times before during his mangment carrer - scoping three awards with brighton and hove albion and one with brentford.

Upon hearing the news, he told lcfc.com: "I am delighted with this award"

I am so pleased he has received this award, he has been a fantastic manger for us this season, I am so pleased for him, just hope his success continues.

if you look at the whole message you'll see it was a light hearted comment about the curse of the manager of the month awards. I think Leicester will be one of the 3 going up this year

How dare you say that, if anything Leicester will be going up the table and back into the Premiership.

the dreaded manager of the month award. I'll expect Leicester to be tumbling down the table for a month now as what usually happens to a team after the manager gets that award

Not wanting to put a downer on anything, but the record states that they are averaging a conceded goal EVERY game they play.

Obviously an area of the field that requires improvement, despite their recent successes.

I will be the only person to reply to this most likely. If it isn't Man U or Arsenal nobodys really bothard.
