the main reason behind this is most people say it costs as little as 40p to produce these games which i do not agree with! they dont realise all the work into this game! but i am with on the fact games £40 or so quid thats too much! even with platinum£20 they make loads of profit and what ya on about why i bought a console? im not referring to just consoles. games on all systems are expensive and all i said was visit the link if ur one with the campaign if not theres no point giving me bad remarks.

I think the best way to resolve the situation is to encourage developers to sell their products online, albeit lower than RRP price by, say £4-5. This would undercut high street business, forcing the retail outlets to respond by matching the pricing policy by dropping the price of games. The developers will actually make MORE than usual, since they generally receive less than half RRP for the games they produce anyway.

So more income through e-sales, and reduced high street prices leading to increased sales.

Most of the games that are over 20 pound are worth buying. If you didn't want to pay this. Why get a console?

I agree with this man.

Alot of developers are making losses these days. And by the looks of things we could have a situation where all the developers are bought out by microsoft becasue of poor profits!

I usually but my games second hand anyway, and I rarely pay above £20 for a game. Places like gamestation have games in Secondhand very quickly

I don't mind if retailers lower their ridiculously huge profit margins, but I'm against any cuts which involve the developers dropping their profits.
