Now some of you may know of my adult advertisement campaign, many won’t. Well in my write up I mentioned the most popular games characters for my research. Well as I was developing an advertisement poster I did research regarding ALL Nintendo characters, popular and not so popular. Well add a bit more information about the individual characters and I could create a post. And so I am, here are the list of many Nintendo characters (or games that feature many characters), and how well known they are (I simply asked people if they knew these characters). My questionnaire regarding Nintendo characters had a picture of a Nintendo character with the name and people told me weather they recognized it or not (74 casual gamers surveyed). Spin off characters mean characters who have starred in their own game after starring in that characters game.

Basis for rumour(s): After selling Rare Nintendo claimed that the next Donkey Kong game would be

So I wasn't wrong in calling it a rumour.

Not surprised much about Doshin and Animal Crossing, but F-Zero! I thought it would get at least as high as Samus. Ah well.

Some interesting findings there, Dringo, although I did read somewhere that Nintendo have said that the OOT remake is just a rumour and nothing more. Might be wrong though.
