Best example is Bishi Bashi Special, but all games improve reactions and are proven by thus: Anyone who has played any realistic driving sim for pro-longed amounts of time is 80% more likely to pass their driving test than those who haven't.
2. Games improve hand-eye co-ordination.
You have to press the buttons whilst looking elsewhere, so you will improve hand-eye co-ordination and will be better at sports like Tennis.
3. Games boost your imagination
Players of RPGs or Fantasy games will be much better writers than those who don't.
A whole heap of other stuff I can't be bothered to think of.
