Could Nintendo lose yet another vital ally to the monopolising hungry ba****** that are Microsoft?

Rare naturally was a massive loss but Capcom is even worse! I will stamp my feet until this rumour dies... unless... Nintendo buy them out....

Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Dino Crisis etc... would be a nice replacement for Rare's lost classics.... especially Devil May Cry... *prays to Doshin that Nintendo gain some sense*.

StarFox was partly made by Nintendo though... About 50/50 apparently.

Larger loss than Rare indeed!

Resident Evil has pretty graphics and atmosphere, but so does Starfox Adventures, only Starfox has more gameplay to it (although, acording to reviews, still not quite up to Zelda in the gameplay department...).

Resident Evil's set in stone for GameCube, Devil May Cry rules, Onimusha's supposed to be good and Dino Crisis I haven't played or heard of. Also, Project Devil (like Devil May Cry) is coming to GameCube and is rumoured to be exclusive.

CAPCOM are a great company, and would be a larger loss than Rare. Nintendo should only buy them if Microsoft threaten to do so though. They don't want to go spending money unecessarily...

Where did you find this?

Capcom sell out?

I doubt it.

What? The fact that Dringo is panicking means it could be true?

Come on! This guy nearly believed an April Fool's joke that Shigsy was leaving Nintendo! :-D

Resident Evil is all the same. Every new game which comes out in the series offers hardly anything new from the one before it or the one before that one.

Maybe the rumours are mixed up, and it's actually Nintendo who are interested in buying Capcom.
After all, the big N has just gained some more pennies in its piggy bank...

Exactly, the only one we care about is the only Nintendo one, surprisingly enough, and it's Resident Evil. :-)

The rest are bollards anyway, and still would be even if they were on GC though, so I don't know what I'm talking about.

Isn't Resident Evil already tied to Nintendo completely, which would then make it a bit stupid for Capcom to move to Microsoft?
