This si just athought it had, and i would liketo know what you would think of it;
This game would be the first real surreal game on the PS2, i know there have been Parraper The Rapper, Rez and Frequency, and maybe a little known game called Freak out which have been surreal, and in all respects, every game is surreal, in that it has something in it that's unrealistic, that's the point of games. But this game would actually have the emphasis on surrealism in the artisitic sense, and no i'm not talking about a painting game or an art game.
It would all take place inside a brain impulse, the whole game, in reality, would last a jiffy (1000th of a second, and if you don't believe me then ask some scitnist guy) and it is a man's journey through his subconscious and then later his unconcious mind as he dies. None of the game would make sense, it would star of like a normal platformer, then as the game prgresses, your character meets strange people, or objects in his mind. Like an ear, or a shoe, or his dog, and like evry other pltformer he would be set quests, but they would be quests to find out things, to infiltrate the temple of indecisiveness, no negotiate the swamps of tears. Imagine a Dali picture in a game, or the bit in bill and ted where they go into their worst nightmares in hell. Like Ico, it wouldn't have flashy, mind blowing intros or cut scenes, and like Monty Python, it will leave yu sitting there thinking, i don't understand why, but i like it.
Just a thought.
