it works sweet, really fast and reliable
Still a good buy, you'd probably have difficulty finding a similar spec PC for the same.
I know the RAM was a bit expensive but it was a respectable brand AND 6ns as opposed to 10ns in most other places so...
the CD drive (56x) can be bought for about around £14, but thats a reiley's and you didn't say what make yours is.
As for the CPU, I idn't check before saying, you got a good price on it but you can buy 1600XPs for about the same...
They do sell, however, the wonderful natural keyboard, that not only allows you to type faster, once you get the hang, but also comes with customisable short-cut buttons at the top, which soon become invaluable.
I'd spend more on these things because as fast as your processor may be, if you've got a gammy keyboard and a poo mouse, your computer will not run smoothly. Also cheap keyboards tend to have really badly weighted buttons, that make typing really difficult and time consuming.
the mouse does have a wheel, and is better than my old one which cost £17 (overpriced piece of crap)
don't see anything wrong with the keyboard either, it does the job fine
all in all i'm pretty chuffed with myself
and i don't know who made the CD-Rom (unboxed) and i cant be bothered to check the top of it.
ps. i've been here for months now and i'm still a newbie
