My laptop screen shouldn't be flickering, should it? I use it for about 12 hours every day, except I haven't slept in 48 hours and have been doing a marathon session on an overdue project almost non-stop in front of it. I think it may be giving up.
Check the temp in your BIOS i'm guessing it's running pretty hot.
you haven't dropped it recently have you? if not then go around acting really worried and someone will confess to dropping it.
