With the American release date set for the 12th of December this game with be released sometime in the early new year
YES!
But what I want is for anyone to rate the game based on what you already know about the original OR on what you've seen so far.

When I was a kid I wasn't mentally aware of games consoles, just as well because the SNES when bust a few years after I bought the GBpocket (I'm 15 and I had to move to Gibraltar from 1992 -95 and then back here).

The SNES had some of the best games ever! These include Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2 : Yoshi's Island, The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past, Starwing, Pilotwings, Streetfighter II (joy!), Super Mario All-Stars and the greatest of them all - Super Mario Kart... :) :) :)

If any (many of them are) of these titles were available for the Game Boy Advance, they would be well worth your money. Pure classics.

If you have the cash, then go for it and get as many as you can of what will be regarded as some of the best games of all time.
Link to Past is no exception. :)

I first played Link To The Past after Link's Awakening and Ocarina Of Time. Such is the extent of the 'borrowing' that I didn't get stuck once. Still an excellent game though.

Anyone want to buy a SNES?

It's blimmin genius. The only problem is, with 20/20 Zelda hindsight, it might all seem a little familiar, especially if you've played any of the later 2D Zeldas (Link's Awakening, or Oracle of Ages/Seasons), which borrowed heavily from it.

Yes, there's a hook-shot, yes, there's a boomerang. Change the flippin record, Shigs.
