It's a comedy about a nasty little inbred village somewhere up north, if you've never seen a nasty little inbred village somewhere up north, then you're not likely to get it. :P

It also tends to follow through with running gags, and "mick" takes of various TV and film references, damn funny programme. ;)

The League of Gentlemen is simply the best programme ever and I love the new style they've adopted for series three. The way they only concentrate on two or three characters an episode is pretty clever. Next week (or episode 2 if you have BBC Choice) is all about Lance Longthorne and the mechanic. I can't wait!

I think that's unfair...

The League of Gentleman is at its best if you have watched all previous episodes and have a good knowledge of films. That way you get most of the jokes; it's the same way the Simpsons has been going of late, towards in-jokes and self-referencing, which is damn funny if you get the references, but if not can seem a little strange.

I think it rocks.

Another TV programme whos humour I 'don't get' (Like monty python). My housemate used to get stoned alone in his room to watch it (don't do drugs kids!. I thought that was pretty sad.

In conclusion if your not stoned it ain't funny

or something

so go watch Coupling instead.

Your comment was obviously a bit to close to home for his liking.
