Rare asked Nintendo if they wanted to buy them out. Nintendo declined, as it didn't look profitable. Microsoft approached Rare and it's shareholders and completely bought them out for $375 million.
It's a pity that GBA connectivity is right out of the question now...
i mean, did m$ approach rare, did m$ approach nintendo, rare to m$, nintendo to m$ etc etc.

What? Why are you Sniggering about?
This is what will happen, rare will go to microsoft, and billy will think aha we are go.
They will develop rubbish games for the xbox, showing they arnt that good, when xbox 2 is released no one will bye it.
Microsoft gives up the consoles "thing" sell rare back to nintendo and they have one less competitor.
Oh and sony will continue to make consoles but to any true gamer the nintendo console will win.
That or MS cant be bothered to make a hand held so get money putting on rares games to GBA.
OR nintendo go half and half with microsoft and make another consoles with microsofts money and nintendos...brilliance.
