Am I right in thinking that the monuments dissapear after a certain amount of time? it's just that everynow and then I mysteriously loose monuments, go back to the village and find they're built one of those dog cack monuments that they build when they don't get a flower.

So basically you don't have to have all the monuments built, as long as you have built them at sometime then you can complete the game?

Nope rather find out for myself. I've had a crew of naughty's steal my trees and also a big feck off one but I kicked the crap out of him.

Are the extras good?

..wanna know what extras you get when you build all the monuments?

Ahhh that'll be why on the monument list one of the monuments has got 2 different pics in its box.

Cheers, now I gotta decide what to get, me thinks I shall go for MX Superfly or Resi Evil.

I keep getting those bloody Naughty things coming along and stelaing my trees, I threw some fireballs at them and instead of taking them out I took one of my vilages out.

You, sir, are a victim of the natural disasters we like to call, earthquakes.

You may be noticing you screen shaking sometimes? Will it's an earthquake, and it affects the whole map. And if your really unlucky, it will destroy some of your momuments, and then because you think they have already built it you don't attend to them, so you don't realise they need another flower, and when they come to re-build it's a pants monument instead.

but you were right anyway, you DON'T need all the monuments built at the same time, just at some point in history. However, you do actually need the love and hate versions of each monument. So you must have built at some point, all 30 monuments, and then you can build the '?' monument.

You don't all the monuments at one time, you just ave to have made one time or another.

I just found out yesterday that you get a hate and love version of each monument. Hate one's normally have spikes or something similar and the love ones seem more plain.

I tried to play Doshin again the other day. It took 5 minutes for me to realise that there was far more potential for growing by scaring the crap out of the villagers and stamping on a few of them as the evil giant. 2 minutes later I was at max size. Went back to yellow giant and tried to manipulate some terrain, only to inadvertently create a volcano crater, because his X/Y terrain lower and raise works not as a complete solid circle, but an algorhythmic outline.

I then decided I was incredibly bored, and destroyed all the villages with a few well aimed fireballs.
