Concerning the European release of the game:
"Shipments of the Earth & Beyond product will be sent to international retailers on Monday, Sept. 30. Many of the international retailers have been reluctant to post specific sales information because they weren't sure when they would receive their shipments. They should all be updating their websites and processing orders for Earth & Beyond soon, so please keep checking their websites for information. Their shipments of the game will be headed their way on Monday, Sept. 30!"
Now I dont know if this applies to the UK or what, but at least it's some info.

Maybe EA listened to all those european gamers who where a bit angry at hearing the game wasn't going to be released over here. Either that or it was some kind of marketing trick to get more people interested in the game.
Meh, whatever the case, it's good to see the game being released in europe, though I'm not buying it, it'll probebly need a massive patch before you can play it just like Battlefield 1942.
