ITV just proved that it's the quickest goal in Champion's League history.
But even if it wasn't, the other candidate is Del Piero against Man U, so we don't mind letting him have it!
And a final score of PSV 0 - 4 Arsenal.
Well, how things have turned around.
Suck.
On.
That.
Put them up against 11 Frenchman, and then they'll be struggling! :D
And you did! You didn't play aswell as we know you could've, and you still one, but you were quite lucky at times.
I'd also like to add that I think Seaman was over-praised at times in the Second Half by that 2nd Commentator on ITV 2.
He reckons Seaman got a touch on that late-strike that hit the bar... BOLLARDS!! I didn't see nu'in!
And he called it a 'very good save' when the ball was hit straight at him at around Chest-height. Easy if you ask me!
I dunno who he was, but I reckon he was a Gunner.
And that he was trying to re-instate everyone's feel of security with Seaman in the goal for England. Even though David 'The Joke' James seems to be his only visible form of competition for the no.1 spot!

It's not an excuse, but a fact. We may have a large squad, but with a couple of exceptions because of injury, it has been the same players in all of those games.

Can't disagree with that. Myself, my dad and my cousin - all Gooners - were al baffled by the nonsense they were coming out with at times.

How quickly they forget! It hasn't been that long since Arsenal were the 'bad boys' of the Premiership, and praises were being sung each week for Man U. All that's happened is that the situation has been reversed.
But in general I do agree with you about the media. It is they who have started this recent Arsenal frenzy, and attributed numerous false or twisted comments to members of the club.
If people actually take the time to watch interviews with the Arsenal players and staff, no-one is getting cocky or big-headed about any of it. But the press are, and that will make people sick of Arsenal. Some of the fans are also getting that 'Man U' attitude of cockiness and arrogance, and I don't like that myself. Sure, I joke about it on here, but no way at this moment in time to I believe that (a) we're unbeatable, or (b) we're going to win everything this season.
Maybe it's all a deliberate ploy by the press? They couldn't make people sick of us by constantly reporting the negative aspects such as disciplinary problems and Patrick Vieira "is he/isn't he" leaving, and they know that the British people love an underdog - so maybe the policy now is to give the public so much of Arsenal that they choke on it, and love Man U again? :-)
And playing 3 games in 8 days is no excuse for a squad the size of Arsenal's.
I watched the Auxerre games from a neutral standpoint, leaning towards wanting Arsenal to win (it being continental competition and all). But after the commentators were praising Arsenal every ball they played, most of which were nothing better than just plain poor, I really wanted to see Auxerre hammer one in.
I know Arsenal have been playing better than that recently, but if it had been united on that pitch, the commentators would have been making comments like "well, they seem to be struggling to link more than a few passes together" "they aren't keeping possession very well" and "this doesn't look like the same team that played charlton over the weekend" and stuff like that.
The press think the sun shines out of the gunner's backsides, while Man U are the evil people who must be put down at every opportunity. Such widespread distaste for the team that for so long was the best the country had to offer is really disappointing, and it seems that Arsenal can do no wrong, as even when they play to a poor standard, as they did last night, they are made out to be an invincible force stomping all over europe!
I've nothing against Arsenal - i'll never support them, but I have nothing against them. But the currect attitude of "MUFC are dead, long live the gunners" from all corners of the press is just plain crap, and it really does my head in.

You obviously didn't see the first two games, then - especially last week's against PSV, where we were pretty awesome.
We've had three tough games in 8 days, and you can't expect the top level of performance every time. We were not at our best, but still pretty much in control of the game. And we are still winning, which is the point.
To say we're not playing much better than previous seasons is just a nonsense statement. We have so far been 100% better than previous seasons. Don't forget, we don't have an easy group like you!
Other than that, both teams had trouble keeping posession for any length of time, and Arsenal repeatedly attacked far more often down the right side, when it was plainly obvious that they were performing far better down the left.
Arsenal may be winning games away from home in the champion's league, but they don't seem to be playing that much better than they have in the past.
Not the best game we've ever played, but controlled football at all times. Can't blame them for the slower pace today - had three tough games in the last eight days.
Never really looked like losing, so that's good. Solid defending away from home - can't argue with that! Especially considering that there are no whipping boys in our group! :-)
Must be some kind of freaky week or somthin. AC Milan knocking in 4 past Deportivo in spain?! Haifa scoring three past Olmpiakos?!
Nice to see the goals flowing though.
A good outsider will be AC Milan.
