personally i don't think a more cartoony jo dark would work, i mean the origional was rather gritty and had brilliant graphics for an N64, but if it became cartoony it would lose all the class from the last game, i mean im sure the xbox can do better than cartoony graphics on pd. Ho hum

what are your opinions?

It's most probably designed by the same guy, who did that cover art, and then went to work for Rare.

The new pics of Joe 'anime' Dark or whatever she's called now I hate to say look preety good, i'll be intrested to see what the final product looks like. They're probably slanting it towards the Anime in hope of appealing more to asian gamers, the original Perfect Dark was preety much a flop in Japan.

Joe dark was actually remodelled a bit in the N64 version when it was released in Yapan. The new look reminds me of a picture that appeared on the cover of N64 magazine.

Well the idea of perfect dark was sci-fi but realistic. So these new pictures are rather strange.

its not the 49% share thjat matter, they sold the rights to PD, i believe they could have sold the 49% and kept PD though MS would have been miffed, and OC the pics look better than the n64 GAME cos it was on the n64, but the properly rendered pics were wicked.

Perfect Dark lost its future when Nintendo sold their share of Rare to MIcrosoft.

Yes, that was very interlectual, Drunk Cow...

I like the new look. Jo looks far better than she did on the N64 game... but whether or not the new look will actually work well with the style and mood of the game remains to be seen.
