Work experience, as a whole, is supposedly pretty boring. I was intended to spend 4 days with Barclays Bank in London. Now that's pretty cool, as it's the Computer side of things, but I got lucky. My dad (works at Barclays in the Tech Section) knows a few people at Microsoft (As they share business deals, or something :D) and it so appened that Work experience popped up in their conversation. I was offered to go to Microsoft next year in the summer, when i'm 16 (that's the minimum age they will allow in apparantly) but something lucky happened.
My Dad was talking about how I win games on here, and the Man he knows asked to see one of my Winning posts. I gave my dad the Health Hazard one, and he showed the guy at MS. He was so impressed with it, he offered me a Day at the Xbox department of Microsoft UK (In London) working with Advertising, customer relations and trying soem games out (yay!) and not only that, they are using my post as Consumer Info! :D
I'll report back here and tell you guys what it was like when I go in about three weeks. :D
Micro.
I don't want to pursue a profession in testing games as I once tried, as it ruined a great past-time and the fun.
:(
> dude everyone knows that people who do stuff with games for Work
> Experience are geeks...but you're not a geek...are you!?
*puts geek glasses on*
