I just watched the first part of the pilot episode of The Dead Zone and thought it was brilliant. I myself am A Stephen King fan but have not yet ben able to read the book the film it was based on. Later the series was taken off of the film.
Just finished "The Stand" un-cut edition and shall now be reading the book. I suppose I will finish it before the end of the 1st series, but I doubt it will give me more info since they can make some of the other story lines up.
I am guessing with a big percentage on my part that THERE will be a 2nd series since it was such a big hit in the USA.
