I’m still waiting for my PS2 and am wondering if anyone else is having the trouble I have had.
First of all I would like to say I didn't order from SR as they told me I would receive my PS2 in March though them.
I ordered mine from Comet. This turned out to be a bad decision as I got a call Saturday before release saying my PS2 would be arriving on Thursday, which was strange seeing as the machine didn't come out till Friday.
Next I phoned Comet and was told it would be in there shop for Friday or Saturday.
Friday I went in the shop and was told they had PS2's there but I couldn't have one as I ordered through Comet Direct and mine was being delivered but they didn't know when , they also told me that I hadn't paid full price saying the unit cost £399! WRONG
On Saturday I received a receipt which also said on it that my Playstation 2 would be ready for collection from the store on 25/12/00 which again was wrong as even if it was true, what shop would be open Christmas Day?
Another phone call to Comet and I spoke to a member there 'Playstation 2 Special team' who knew nothing about it and nothing about what was going on.
Another trip to the store and I'm told they have to phone Parcel Force because they are delivering the console. But a day later I haven't heard a thing
At the point of writing I have no Playstation 2,no date of when I will get it and have to pay extra for the pleasure of having it delivered by Parcel Force!
Anyone had any worse experiences or there own Playstation 2 problems? I’d like to hear them.
