But he is also responsible for some of the best, and weirdest, videogames in history. And now he's making more.
If you point your browser towards www.llamasoft.co.uk you'll find several of his new shareware titles. Gridrunner++ is an update of Jeff Minter's Vic 20 game: it's a brilliant shoot-em-up, that combines massively addictive twitch gaming with surprisingly deep strategy and groovy visuals. Hover Bovver: Grand Theft Flymo is, um, a lawn mowing sim. But wait! You don't use any old lawnmower, but one you've borrowed from the Queen Mother (RIP). It is, apparently, what she would have wanted. Finally, Deflex is a puzzly-shooting thing in which you get to despatch hoards of (god, I'm not selling these games well at all) floating Queen Mum heads.
All these games have big demo versions, and the full shareware titles only cost a fiver. Great value, especially for the sublime Gridrunner. Please, please play these games: you won't regret it.

Viva la furry resistance!"
You really can't say fairer than that.
