Why is it that I always forget to cut them for ages?

Am I the only person to do this?

I always try to remember, but it takes until the nails have made holes in the end of my socks before I'll actually cut the damn things.

Thoughts?

My toenails grow very slowly (unlike my hair and fingernails) so I rarely have to cut them. I've had a couple of ingrown toenails before though... grrr

I dont cut my toenails until thier long aswell.

I don't think mine grow fast

I cut them about once a year and they stay short

I bite my fingernails though

It was. Puss filled flesh underneath the old toenails and tiny little new ones starting to grow back. I kept the old nails for a while too.

I lost both my big toenails from frostbite once. That smelt real bad.

I hardly ever cut my toenails compared to the amount of times I cut my fingernails. My fingerones grow really fast and I find myself having to trim them every couple of days. My toenails are duff though - maybe once a month at best. I'm not some scary "Edward Scissor-Toenail", though. They just don't grow that fast. The big toe on my left foot is actually split in half from an accident I had when I was little. It's never healed properly and the other day I cut too close to the skin and it all bleed from unerneath for ages. Quite messy. Then it hurt for ages and I couldn't cut off the hooky bit because of the pain, so it kept catching my socks and bleeding even more!

Hmmm, bizarre.

Maybe it's because you're so tall. The added pressure on the feet causes them to reek?
