This news of Rare being bought by Microsoft is all very intriguing (yawns) but what I'm anxious to know is, will Starfox Adventures actually be released? Surely it's too far in development to be scrapped altogether, and there's no chance of Microsoft getting their hands on characters that Nintendo owns....

Fear not, Starfox 'will' still be coming to the cube. Some say oit will be the last Rare game on the Gc infact, but they certainly aren't scrapping it.

Yep, last Gamecube Rare game.

It's looking a real treat too.

Lovely graphics + animation, a HUGE adventure, there's a multiplayer mode in there too!
It's got Zelda style gameplay as well as Lylat Wars style sections, not to mention hundreds of mini-games.

What more could you possibly want from a game?



Seeing as it's looking better than any Xbox game, it'll be interesting to see what those guys from Twycross make out of the "more powerful" Xbox hardware...

If you think back to Banjo Tooie, multiplayer isn't always a good thing, that FPS bit was so bad. (:)

Tooie multiplayer wasn't too bad, at least there was a variety of game. Jet Force Gemini and DK64 multiplayer was much worse.

Should be better than anything Rare can bring out on the X-Box!

Yeah, RARE had trouble swapping from N64 style to GC style so they will have the same problem with the Xbox.
