Dunno if anyones made a post on this already cos I ain't used the forums much in the past few days.

But, did anyone else enter the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2002?

I went to a tourney on Weds with some mates. I did PANTS and lost the first round. Mainly cos all the characters weren't unlocked and so I couldn't use Lei, and I'd only played Tekken 4 the day before the comp.

Anyways, my mate who's really good went with me and I cheered him on to win it. Even though the guy running it was a complete monkey and my mate should have won the comp quite a few matches before the end. {long story won't go into details}

At the end, my mate won a copy of Tekken 4, which he kindly gave to me, and now he's off to the regional finals in either Newcastle or Glasgow.

Should be exciting to see how well he does there.

If any of you don't know, after the regional finals, all the finalists go down to London for the final, and the winner from that goes onto the international finalls. And the winner of that, gets £10,000 and a free trip to Japan!

Fingers crossed for me mate!

So has anyone else entered, and won anything?

:)

I find Jin the best. First you use any grab move that gets the character on the floor, then when they are on the floor charge up your punch (Back and up, and square and triangle) then as they stand up they should find it impossible to dodge and they should get KO in one go. :D Works evertime :D

Hi!

Is there anyone that can tell me what DOJO- mode is in Tekken 4? It doesn't unlock when I have finished Tekken force mode..

Thanks!

I've just started to train hard with characters to beat my mates. Today i played with heihachi and i really kick a55 with him. I can pull off 8 hit combos and do his most hardest moves. Bring it on pipey!

On my Tekken Tag sometimes it doesn't register the Survival data with a certain character combination. For some reason I can get the best result with both the ogres (don't ask me why) but whenever I try it with them it always says "Practice Harder!", no matter what I get. I could get twelve times higher than the top score and it still says "Practice Harder!". It might have something to do with the fact that they are already on top of the scoreboard, but it still isn't right.

I`m a Yoshimitsu man myself - that square, triangle, square, circle, circle, circle, circle, square, square, square combo is just superb! Starts off with some nice punches, moves into a spinning kick, varies the height, then finishes with a series of sword slashes - brilliant! Trouble is, its not so easy to do properly on 4. With Tag, once you had started, it was difficult for people to stop you, now its almost too easy for your opponent to get a hit in. Ah well.

I`m not good enough to fight in any tournaments though I expect! In PSM2 they have a rankings chart where people can get 300-400 wins on Tekken Tag Survival, which is 5 times what I can do.
