what i do is first freeze the explosives then chase after him and when he gets short of breath punch and kick him and when he falls on the floor then use the pistol to shoot him in the head

Do you mean 'extremely clost to" as in you haven't actually fought him yet?

I agree, It's pretty easy anyway, but I've read walkthroughs before even trying games and it's boring.
