I'm a complete newb in the world of forums and i would be very grateful if someone could go through the basics. Where to host? How to upload? what needs to be done? anything that would get the forums up would be gratefull many thanks in advance..
download the forums from, http://yabbforum.com or something similar, they have all the instructions there, more than i could tell you, probably best to find someone with the forums already installed to help you out though.
lso, to host, you'll need a host with a CGI-Bin and FTP software.
Freeola has a cgi-bin and you canget your ftp software (for free..legally) from http://download.com just type "WS-FTp lite" in the search box.
