Dunno where you got that from, but Datel haven't ever announced a specific date so far for the Action Replay or Freeloader discs.

No official release date has been set yet (except 'Early August', then 'September') so no one's got one.

I could ask Datel for you if you like - (I write a weekly article for them so I contact them quite a lot)

It lets you unlock stuff you may not be able to yourself, it allows you to play import games and it is fun to mess around games with (like moon gravity Mario as shown on www.codejunkies.com) I'm getting one, so I'm bound to say yes.
