Despite being right handed, I use my left hand to shoot my gun ;).
If I use my left hand it's hard to control and doesn't work that well.
I'm of a long drawn out burst person myself, I use both hands otherwise i'd never be able to get a good grip.

Right hand. Never use lightguns though....
