Did I just read that correctly? "1024kpbs.. bah"?!?! You ungrateful sod! You don't deserve that connection! :-)
The 512k service has always been capped at 600kbps, don't ask me why, but it's true - hence allowed downloads at 75k/sec insteald of 64k/sec. Ran a modem diagnostic I got from somewhere to get firmware info, 'tis 600 - 1mbit on the other hand is very much capped at 1024kbps..bah.
