Click Here To Go To The Top
That would take you to the top of the page (I think). I'm pretty sure it works with words as well, for example, if you had lots of paragraphs, named 1-15 or something, you shoud be able to swap "top" for something else. This is just a guess though, so if it doesn't work, ahh well.
These are called "anchors".
Wherever you want an anchor put Name_of_anchor
Then reference it by putting a link i.e.
anchor_linkname"
If it is in another page then the link should be:
anchor_linkname
Hope that's what you meant!!
something like
at the top of the body section and then somewhere else in the page you could have
Back to the Top which would link to the top. The use of the # links back to the previous link with the same name.
Just experiment, move the anchor link () to where you want to link back too.
Interesting.
:-)
Firstly, find the place where you want the link to go to on the page, and type, in the source code:
Then, find where you want the link to appear, and type:
Between the quotes on the second one, you must have a # sign, and then the name of the anchor from the top example, if you see what I mean!
Best explanation so far though ;)
