That's why i prefer online shops! No need to be laughed at from a shop assistant, no why not buy a Dreamcast instead of a playstation and no more overuse of space for just one machine being overhyped when it's not really on sale to the general public!
Sony will rule the Market, nintendo will be humble and let them past, X-Box will do the same, i think they're doing it as an experiment, Microsoft is the most powerful and influential producer in the world you know.
Right, perhaps many PS2's are brought now. But which will last longer? I say the Cube, or the X-Box.
The Dreamcast is a great console, and it could put up a great fight if it had some support, but alas, developers are full of themselves, and they only want sales, not good games.
So I wasn't really refering to the best console, but more of the developer support for it, and how long it will be before developer support starts lacking for it.
They can't just say, "Let's bring it out on the PS2 as well" anymore, because it can't be just ported. However, it can be on the X-Box and Cube. So that's why I think it will last longer.
it's not the console that's being sold, it's the games(in the long run) - I will explain, you don't buy a PS2 because it looks better than the Gcube or DC, it's because of the amount of games you expect, you wouldn't buy a GCube because of it's colour and then buy PS2 games because you like the gameplay because it doesn't work.
I really need to go back to sleep.
Don't forget it's all down to personal preference. I'm sure most of you here would jump at the chance to own ALL the machines on offer, but if you have to choose one, you go for the one that has the most interest for you. Mine's the Dreamcast at the moment, but if something comes out later for the PS2 that I'm interested in, then might save up for one a bit quicker than I currently am (and at this rate i'll have a PS2 when the PS3 comes out!)
Explaination.
First off was the NES. Did well. Beat off the Master System.
Next, over all the Megadrive won. Although there were more sales of the SNES in Britain, the Megadrive eventually overtook it.
Then the Playstation. Followed by the N64, and unfortuantly killed the Saturn.
Now?
Sega, Microsoft or Nintendo will have it. Not Sony. Certainly.
Odds?
Sega: 10-1
Microsoft: 4-1
Nintendo: 3-1
Sony: 7-1
And that's my honest opinion. And I'm not usually wrong about these sort of things, so learn to trust my judgement, I did, and it did wonders for my love life.
(Hey?)
Sorry, got caught up in the moment.
was this letter just a boast? as elitesnoiper said, we don't care if you have one, my mate has one(import) and there is one with loads of games in my local game shop(all imported games but they're in English).
