It's like chocolate we love them until we finish the whole thing up.
Gaming allows us to live those moments again and again that would only normally come about once in a lifetime if at all. We can express our feelings, partake in revolutions, become heros, conquer evil, defeat dictators, overthrow governments, collect rings (?); our imagination is enhanced by the graphics and gameplay of the game we decide to play. We can live our dreams, overcome our fears, and retreat from life's harsh realities for a few hours of each day by gaming.
So yes, just like chocolate.

Its a bit like the Wonker Exploder Bars, as all the excitment and brillance explodes once you get your teeth into it.

I suppose in a way, playing a game is like social suicide. Which is why I enjoy playing online agaisnt people. Otherwise my brain would just completely take me over. Who thankfully, also, happens to be asleep, or missing, at the moment.
