It has come to my attention that the funniest film to date barring Ice Age (Soooo funny) has the green ogre called Shrek! Now at first I didn't see the connection I mean his voice is buy Mike Myers the film wasn't made in Germany but something kept me thinking of my German vocab. I watched the film (for about the thousandth time) to try and pick up on some more hints and clues but the nearest thing I could see was the three pigs speaking with a German accent. However this just wasn't the info I was looking for and then it hit me! Shrek constantly goes on about how he is a big scary ugly ogre and everyone else finds him hideous,ugly,smelly,
disgusting the list goes on. I quickly looked through my vocab and there it was "Shrek" is an abbreviation of the german word for terrible/horrible "Schrecklich"!! It's a sly little play on words. Well since this has no gaming value I'll be quiet now and leave you with that interesting fact :D
