I normally watch DVD rips on the computer and these take up alot of CPU resource so having a CPU temp of 48c isnt uncommon, but the system temp is still low e.g. only 24 or 25c. The computer doesnt crash even though the CPU temp is high.
I was wondering if the problem is caused by the graphics card being low powered, as it has no fan on it and the bandwidth is something like 1.3GB/s when decent cards are in the region of 7+GB/s. I've had different drivers for the card as I had to format the computer, so I tried some different drivers. Does any have any thoughts on whether a new graphics card would sort out the problem, or whether trying a load of different drivers would sort the problem out.
Only thing now to sort out is a good Case. Mine vibrates like hell, and sounds really bad at high temps. I know its the case as you touch it and it stops. You can fix it, but then it starts again. Any advise on a nice quiet case that doesnt vibrate?
Software most likely..... maybe spyware.
Could it be some type of Driver issue?
