I copied my VHS copies of 'Charmed' [with that horrible Channel 5 logo] to DVD on a Philips DVD recorder only to discover the sound was out-of-sync' [perhaps recording TV programmes is a problem for the industry]. Not a problem if you do not look too closely, though Phoebe speaking with Andys voice is very strange. I sent [then] 9 DVD's to a friend in Canada, alas she cannot play any of them. Is there a solution to this problem?

I am sure there are many in the UK who would like to send wedding and like DVD's, copies of the soaps. As most things are recorded in MPEG this should not be difficult.

Perhaps I could buy one of Freeolas multi-region DVD players but is there a problem with power supply [110 volt] and NTSC output? Ideas please!
