Games like Fifa come out every year with slightly better graphics and different rankings of teams but do we actually buy the new versions if we've already got an older version?

Fifa 97 came with my PC and I nver used to play it much. But now I have started to and so has my brother and now we play with each other against the computer! We find this better than playing against each other!
I'm not even a fottball fan but Fifa 97 is an addictive game! (Unlike PGA European Tour 96 which also came with my PC BORING)
I usually play as Wales in International matches (cos that's where I live) and I can beat the computer 20-0 sometimes in an 8-min a half match!
The indoor games are good but much harder because the goals are tiny! But they are also addictive!
Has anyone else got a game like this?
