Yep. It's sorted, but it's slower than ever. I guess there isn't a cure for this. :-D
> Thanks again :-)
Not a problem, glad to help....but I know what the other person is on about. NTL's discs that are sent out to customers are rubbish, they put far too much information/programs on there and all you need is to be able to setup a dialup icon and configure your Outlook Express properly with the correct settings and viola....it all works just as well as their program.
Trust me I know, I upgraded my ex's computer from 98 to 2k, all went smoothly till I came to install their dialup program.....not compatible with 2k.....great....NOT!!
Went to nthellworld.com got the dialup number needed and setup an icon on her desktop and configured Outlook with all the settings and it's still working to this day......well it would be if she hadn't changed to BB but that's another story :D
Glad your sorted though.
All this stuff about don't run it through the disc. I'm pretty good at PC's but not that good.
Thanks again :-)

If your getting messages like this don't worry, all it means is that the NTL POP server is experiencing problems, this happens to all ISPs. They regularly do maintenance on them and when they do they disable the facility.
Just keep trying at a later time and you'll find that it'll have worked.
> Heh, couldn't resist :D. Anyway, don't use Ntl so I can't really help,
> sorry.
Meh, good for you becuase it's crap :-P
c.b.
if so then yoiu'll need to organise a new account on your Outlook Express or whatever you use to recieve emails.
