ROFL! You cant imagine how much the breakmaker comment cracked me up, lol!

THere'll never be 4 controller ports, because there's too much money to be made from the multitap racket.

IBM and Toshiba are joining to begin the development of an advanced semiconductor manufacturing technology. The Cells are ultra small silicon tidbits containing tiny processors that are meshed with memory and communications circuitry. This will replace the current central processor based computer design. IBM speculate that the cell chips will generate computing power equivalent to squeezing 36 desktop machines onto a 10 pence sized piece of silicon. Each cell will contain the equivalent of a 1GHz processor and the cell chips will have 500 MB to 1 GB of memory for allocation among cells according to need. They're planning to spend $400 million to develop a method to etch schematics that are as small as 0.05 micron on to a silicon wafer. And if anyone else thinks of doing a PS3 topic please don't I typed out this info ages ago and i've posted it in three topics no just to keep people up to date :S I can see Darkus aiming his banmorang now...**jumps out window**

4 controller ports, built in hard disc drive, more power, more video memory, all good stuff. Hope it's still based around DVD, and not some sort of system where you are forced to download games over broadband internet (no DVD or discs at all). Thats no good to me, since I cant get broadband here - and may never be able to receive it.

Well, some kind of mini-disc function would be pretty cool, especially if the console is Internet-ready, because you could download music straight into the mini-disc inserted in the "PS3".to
